The First EPoS sales screen was derived from many hours of analysis and prototyping as a result of comprehensive feedback from our retail customers. The end result is an easy to use and straightforward Point of Sale system that can be mastered in no time at all, even by staff without prior computing knowledge. Staff training time will thus be kept to a minimum.
Products may be entered by scanning their barcode or by simply typing it in. It makes no difference whether products have barcodes or not, it is simple either way. If you type the product code in then the system uses a very fast search technique unique to First EPoS. Stock not on the system may be added at sales time, this feature is often missing on the more over priced versions of EPoS on the market today .
 

Rapid navigation between the relevant sale functions is facilitated by the use of special Hot keys (F8, F9, F10 and ESC), these being common to all standard keyboards. In using standard keyboards we have given our system the functionality of the very expensive Point of Sale keypads for a fraction of the price….
