To install First EPoS software on Windows 98.

1. Insert the First EPoS CD in the CD-ROM drive.

2. Follow the on screen setup instructions.

3. During the setup procedure you’ll be asked if you wish to install Retail Manager into the default folder (C:\EPoS), you must not change the default destination folder. Click OK to accept the default destination folder

4. When presented with the Installation screen click on Typical.

5. When First EPoS software has finished installing you will be presented with the following screen. Click Yes to install the Hasp Device Driver.

6. Note - Ensure the Hasp Device is fitted to LPT1 (printer port).

7. The Hasp Device Driver is loaded using an install wizard similar to the one used in the loading of the First EPoS software. When the first form is displayed just simply click the Next button

8. Click on Typical and click Next.

9. The Hasp Device is now fully installed, click OK to finish
