First EPoS entered the point of sale market back in 1996 with the intention of providing affordable Electronic Point of Sales (EPoS) systems. We were inspired after initial market surveys showed there were plenty of EPoS packages on sale however, they retailed at £4000 or more for stand alone systems that ran under DOS. Such costs meant that the small to medium retailer could not enjoy all the benefits of EPoS. |

| 0ur aim is to provide affordable EPoS systems to the small to medium UK retailer with all the benefits of the more expensive systems already on sale today. The first EPoS system changes your PC into an EPoS station by simply installing our software, adding a bar code scanner, receipt printer and cash draw. | ||||

| The first UK retailer to purchase our system converted to us from a DOS based EPoS system they purchased some two years earlier. Their original system was cumbersome, slow by current standards and worst of all the system had to be returned to the original manufacturer for repairs and upgrades. They calculated that their future maintenance costs would be too high. The problem with standard systems is that they can't be upgrade like our standard PC system. Our system offered them greater flexibility, increased functionality at a very affordable price. | ||||

0ur diverse range of customers include fast foods, whole sale and health foods, gaming software, off licencees, book stores through to the Elgin Sewing Centre (the largest supplier of sewing machines in Scotland), which truly demonstrates the flexibility of our systems.
